ASEAN-QA SQUARED supports the multiplication of the capacity building efforts in the ASEAN region by the project since 2011. It targets the alumni of the internal quality assurance (IQA) track of Phase 1 (2011-2013), II (2014-2016) and III (2016-2018) to further strengthen them in their roles as multipliers and trainers in Southeast Asia.

European and Southeast Asian Experts in the field of quality assurance, didactics and training methodologies as well as evaluation and intercultural sensitisation, facilitated the workshop.  Peer-coaching, individual feedback and actual experience in training methodologies were among the approaches used to encourage participants to fine-tune their proposed training or workshop activities and to prepare them in the role of trainers.

Among the 15 trainings and workshops being discussed and refined during the ASEAN-QA SQUARED Training of Trainers, 8 of them will be given further support during implementation with the opportunity of further mentoring and feedback by the experts during the actual implementation. Two of the 8 trainings have on top been granted further funding for a workshop that targets a regional audience.

Interested parties can contact the ASEAN-QA Secretariat or watch our news section for more information on these training/workshop schedules.  There might be one, which is open to your country or the region.

Some photo documentation during the actual ASEAN QA Squared Trainíng of Trainers can be viewed here.
